Mini Goldendoodles are known for their low to no shed, so this is an excellent breed if you do not like sporting dog hair. They are brilliant and love everyone. This breed started in the 1990s as a service dog for people with allergies. They took the Golden Retriever and Standard Poodle and developed the Goldendoodle. With careful breeding and downsizing, the poodle size to miniature, the mini goldendoodle was developed.

Plumcreek Acres Mini Goldendoodles are mostly multi-generational to control size and shedding. We can not guarantee any shed or under 20lbs since all Goldendoodles, whether mini or standard, all have the Golden Retriever as a foundation dog for this incredible breed. We do health testing to try to control size and shedding.

Mini Goldendoodles are incredible lap pups but have fetching solid skills and are quick to learn. This breed works as an emotional support dog or therapy dog all over Ohio.

Melissa answered every text I sent and all questions I had when arriving at her house. I have had many dogs and it is unbelievable the disposition of Hazel. I have never had such a well behaved, socialized, sweet, loving, cuddling dog. In addition, she is so smart!! She is 14 weeks almost and I got her when she was 12 weeks and within 2 days, she was potty trained. In addition, Melissa was very honest when I asked her questions about the other available puppies. I told her I wanted a calmer type dog and she told me the other 2 dogs I wanted to visit with would be way more active. Would recommend Melissa to anyone, she is just not breeding and selling puppies, you can tell they are quality dogs!!!!

My goldendoodle puppy is healthy and happy, and he has the best personality I have ever seen in a dog. 2 year update: my friends got Bobo’s half brother from Melissa after seeing Bobo and the two are best friends. I like the fact that she has the parents health tested & has OFA passing scores on her adult dogs. Her kennel is bright with a lot of natural light, ceiling fans & heat for the cold days & A/C on for them when it's hot outside. Her dogs look real nice & healthy. Melissa’s parents bred miniature poodles in their home for years. My children have shown the golden retriever, so combining the two and developing our lines of mini Goldendoodles made sense. Our Mini Goldendoodles started with English Cream Golden Retrievers and Moyen poodles; for each generation, we downsized the stud size to help control the size and any health concerns with going too small too soon.
